Supreme Court hit delete on Trump tariffs and your wallet still got mugged

Nothing screams “freedom” like a court ruling that saves you money in theory while your checkout total keeps committing hate crimes in practice.

The Supreme Court just swatted down a chunk of Trump-era tariffs, and Democrats are doing the victory-lap thing where they smile like they personally lowered the price of eggs.

Tariffs are a tax, just with extra steps and a flag pin. They jack up import costs, companies pass it to consumers, and somehow the only thing that doesn’t get cheaper is executive compensation.

The sick part is the yo-yo. Courts chop, presidents re-add, agencies “review,” and your local business owner is trying to plan inventory like they’re reading tea leaves in a hurricane.

And yes, new tariffs are already lurking in the queue because nothing says “I care about working families” like making their essentials cost more to prove you’re “tough.”

Meanwhile, politicians get to cosplay as heroes, corporations get to keep the spread, and you get the privilege of paying more for the same stuff while being told it’s “strategic.”
