OpenAI Is About to Turn ChatGPT Into a Full-Time Content Sweatshop

One chat box is about to start spitting out Hollywood-looking video like it’s replying “lol” in a group chat.

OpenAI plans to put Sora — its text-to-video generator — inside ChatGPT, aka the app that already writes your emails, your breakup texts, and half of LinkedIn’s daily cringe output.

This is the “everything app” pitch: text + images + video in one interface. Translation: you won’t need a camera, a crew, an editor, or a soul — just a prompt and the audacity.

If you’re a creative, congrats on being “disrupted,” which is Silicon Valley’s word for “we found a way to not pay you.” The people who benefit are the usual suspects: OpenAI gets more subscriptions, platforms get infinite content to keep you scrolling, and marketers get to A/B test your brain like it’s a lab rat with a credit card.

And misinformation? Oh buddy. We’re moving from “your uncle shared a fake photo” to “your uncle commissioned a fake video” in the same place he asks ChatGPT if microwaves cause communism.
