NVIDIA Drops $4B on Photonics Suppliers to Unclog the AI Data Center Bottleneck

NVIDIA is investing $2B each in Lumentum and Coherent plus multiyear purchase commitments to secure optical components — basically paying to control the plumbing that moves data inside AI factories.
