RFK Jr. just made Republicans horny for government regulation

Republicans are out here asking the government to regulate Big Food and Big Pharma, and yes, we are also checking to see if Mercury is in retrograde or if the simulation is just trolling.

POLITICO says a new poll shows RFK Jr. is basically doing political CrossFit: he’s flipping the script so hard that more Americans — especially Republicans — now want tougher oversight of food and drug companies.

This is the same coalition that usually hears “regulation” and reacts like you just suggested banning trucks and forcing everyone to drink oat milk through a paper straw.

RFK Jr.’s whole brand is “your cereal is lying to you” meets “your medicine is lying to you” with a sprinkle of “and the people in charge are in on it.” And honestly? When insulin costs more than a car payment and your kid’s snack has 14 ingredients that sound like Star Wars villains, it’s hard to pretend everything’s fine.

Meanwhile, food and drug companies are absolutely thrilled to issue another statement about “innovation” and “consumer choice.”

RFK Jr. isn’t turning Republicans into lefties. He’s turning “leave the market alone” into “why is the market allowed to poison me and invoice me for it.” Different vibe. Same anger.
