Campbell Exec Got Caught Hating Soup and People on a Hot Mic

A Campbell executive allegedly went on a racist rant… while also basically admitting he doesn’t even buy the company’s food because it’s “unhealthy.”

Imagine clocking in every day to sell soup, then your boss is on tape like, “Yeah I don’t touch that stuff.” That’s not leadership. That’s a health inspector with stock options.

This all popped out of a wrongful-termination lawsuit, because of course it did. Someone sues, discovery happens, and suddenly the corporate mask slips and it’s just raw vibes and HR liability.

Campbell’s move was to put the exec on leave after the recording leaked. Not fired. Not “we’re sorry.” Just the classic corporate timeout chair.

Campbell also says they can’t verify the recording. Which is hilarious because if a random employee submitted an expense report with the wrong font, they’d run a full forensic investigation like it’s the Pentagon Papers.

Meanwhile, the company is defending product quality, because nothing says “trust our food” like an alleged hot mic where your own exec calls it unhealthy.

If you’re an employee, this is what you learn: loyalty is required, but sincerity is optional. If you’re a customer, congrats—you’re paying premium prices for a product the people selling it allegedly won’t eat.
