One in 4 young Trump fans want women to shut up and fall in line

26% of young Trump supporters think society should run like a 1950s office where men bark orders and women nod like dashboard bobbleheads.

Not “tradition.” Not “values.” An actual hierarchy. Men lead, women follow. Like it’s a workplace and your boyfriend is HR.

And it’s not the boomers. This is younger Trump voters saying it at about twice the rate of older voters, per a big MS NOW/More in Common survey. Translation: the internet didn’t radicalize your uncle. It cooked your little cousin.

The Number

26% — that’s roughly 1 in 4. If you’re at a table with three of his friends, odds are one of them thinks you should need a permission slip to have an opinion.

The same survey also finds a nice little bipartisan stink of people being weirdly open to political violence. Not “I’m mad.” More like “maybe the country needs a light domestic arson, as a treat.”

Translation

this isn’t a culture war debate about who can say “woke” without passing out. It’s a stability problem. When a chunk of the electorate starts fantasizing about force, every election turns into a custody battle where everyone’s holding a lighter.

Meanwhile the powerful love this. Gender panic and violence flirting are the perfect smoke screen while Congress trades your rent, your healthcare, and your labor rights like Pokémon cards. CEOs don’t care if your girlfriend “follows” as long as you both show up Monday and shut up about wages.

This isn’t just cringe ideology. It’s policy gravity. People who want hierarchy vote for hierarchy — in workplaces, in courts, in bedrooms, and eventually in your bank account.

The Bottom Line

When politics becomes “who gets to dominate who,” don’t be shocked when the winners are always the same rich psychos and the rest of us are just the furniture.

TLDR

A survey found 26% of young Trump supporters want men in charge and women obedient, and way too many people across parties are weirdly chill about political violence—this isn’t vibes, it’s the country wobbling.
