Democrats Just Discovered Black Voters Have Free Will

A bunch of Big Important Democrats reportedly met up like it’s a corporate offsite, except the KPI is “please don’t lose the presidency again.”

POLITICO says they’re panicking about 2028 because Black voters are questioning the whole “path to victory” thing, which is a wild way to describe “do you even like us or are we just a recurring subscription you forgot to cancel?”

They’re staring at turnout like it’s a misbehaving Roomba. Why isn’t it returning to the charging dock? Why is it ramming into walls? Why is it screaming “we want results” instead of politely vacuuming up your election?

The anxiety isn’t philosophical. It’s tactical. If Black voters are less enthusiastic, the whole “we’ll just replicate 2020 forever” plan turns into “we’re gonna be holding Nevada like it’s a fragile heirloom while Arizona laughs and walks away.”

And the funniest part is they’re treating this like a messaging problem. Like the issue is the font on the email subject line.

Meanwhile, the strategy fight starts now because 2026 is the warm-up knife fight. If Dems bleed in the midterms, the donors start panic-dialing consultants, the consultants start selling “rebranding,” and regular people get another two-year serving of dysfunction with extra gaslighting.

You’re not a “demographic.” You’re the margin. And they’re doing algebra with your life.
